The meal replacements are portion-controlled!
We have lost our ability to judge a "normal, healthy portion". Most programs have you weigh and measure all your food. This is an excellent way to retrain yourself to eat only a small amount of food each time you eat. But it does take consistent effort. And we don't always have our scale and measuring cups with us when we eat.

You eat 6 times a day!
We know that eating 6 times a day is the best way to give the body the nutrition it needs consistently throughout the day. But the problem has always been to find the right combination of foods that will balance your blood sugar (see #1 above) and be portion-controlled (#2 above) so you don't end up eating more calories than you are burning in a day.

I feel like I am 10 years younger!
"I've struggled with my weight my whole life, actually, since I was 8-years-old. I've tried hard to keep healthy. I've done triathlons. I tried exercise programs, high protein, low protein, high carb, low carb, and the Atkins diet. You name it, I've tired it. I once did a 21-day juice fast where all I had was liquid juice, vegetables and fruit juice. I did lose weight, but I gained it all back as soon as I went back to regular food.
After being on the program for one week I lost 8 lbs. After my first 30 days I lost 28 lbs. I was so excited that I decided to stay on the program for another month. After my second month I lost another 19 lbs for a total of 47 lbs in two months. I'm back to the weight I was in college!

"My name is Judy Willodson. I was introduced to the program back in November of 2001. When I first was introduced to the program I was 27 lbs overweight. I think that I was a little depressed at that time. When I first started the program I had been on many, many other programs before. I've done every weight loss program you can imagine. I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on having personal trainers. Going to the gym 5 days a week spending 2-3 hours at the gym. It was a lot of work. It was hard. I felt the results, but once I stopped the program I gained the weight back again. Once I had my third child I put on about 68 lbs with him. After getting out of the hospital the weight was really hard to take off.
